Refilling Your Prescriptions
Prescription refills for established patients of South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine are routinely issued Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. Please keep in mind that no refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid interruption in your medication therapy.
You can request a prescription refill through your Patient Portal. From the top navigation bar of the Portal, select “Renew Medications.” You will see all active medications prescribed by your SFO physician. Select the desired medication, pharmacy, and renewal information. Then, click “Submit” to send it to us. Requests sent through the Patient Portal after hours will be handled the following business day.
You can also request a prescription refill by calling our Triage Department. When you call the office at(772) 288-2400, select option 2 “For Prescription Refills”. Any messages left after 4 PM will be handled the following business day.
